  • When you arrive, one of our specialized infusion nurses will greet you, help you settle in, and make sure you are comfortable. They will clearly explain the infusion process, review your treatment, and answer any questions you may have before starting.

You will have a dedicated nurse throughout your visit, and our nurse-to-patient ratio is intentionally kept low to ensure the highest level of attention, safety, and comfort during your infusion.

Our nursing team has over 60 years of combined infusion experience and focuses specifically on infusion therapies. Unlike clinics that offer a wide range of procedures, our team is dedicated to infusion care, allowing us to provide highly experienced, patient-focused treatment in a calm and supportive environment.

Once your infusion begins, your nurse will closely monitor you throughout the entire treatment, ensuring your comfort and safety at every step and addressing any questions or concerns along the way. See our For Patients page for further details.

  • IV infusions are generally safe, but side effects, though rare, can occur. Your care team will review potential risks with you and monitor you during and after treatment.

  • Our infusion clinic has physician support, and established emergency protocols to ensure patient safety during all treatments.

  • No! Simply contact us directly or if preferred, ask your healthcare provider to send a referral.

  • Infusions are offered to any clinically stable patients who are suitable for a community setting and have no contraindications to the prescribed IV medication.

Our team reviews each patient's medical history to ensure safe treatment.

  • Simply call us at our partner, VistaPark Rx, (587) 454-2413. We'll handle the transfer for you. If you're not sure what's needed, we'll walk you through everything step by step.

  • Once we receive the referral, our team takes care of the rest. We will contact you directly to review your health history, answer your questions, check your medication coverage, and schedule your appointment at a time that works for you.

We also coordinate with our partner pharmacy to prepare and deliver your medication to the clinic in advance, so everything is ready for your visit.

Our process is designed to be simple and stress-free for patients and physicians. Often just one referral and one phone call is needed to get everything arranged.

On the day of your appointment, all you need to do is arrive and our team will take care of the rest.

  • Most patents can be booked within 1-3 business days, and in urgent situations we are often able to accommodate next-day or even same-day appointments.

Timely access to care is a core focus of our clinic. While many infusion centres have longer wait times, we prioritize rapid scheduling whenever possible.

If your infusion is urgent, please contact our clinic and our team will work to schedule you as quickly as possible.

  • No. Your medication will be prepared and delivered directly to the clinic by our partner specialty pharmacy before your appointment.

The pharmacy team will clinically review your prescription, ensure the medication is properly dispensed, stored, and transported, and deliver it safely to the clinic. This process helps maintain medication safety, integrity, and proper storage conditions, so it is ready for administration at the time of your infusion.

  • Call us at (587) 454-2413. Our centralized team simplifies scheduling and enquiries.

  • Pre-payment confirms your appointment and helps prevent last-minute cancellations or no-shows. This allows us to reserve dedicated nursing time for your treatment and ensures other patients can access timely care.

It also allows our clinical team to remain fully focused on patient care during your visit, without interruptions related to administrative or payment processing. Our priority is maintaining a safe, efficient, and comfortable treatment environment for every patient.

For more information, please refer to our cancellation policy.

  • We understand that life happens and sometimes you may need to change or cancel an appointment. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the time to another patient.

No-shows and appointments cancelled less than 24 hours may be subject to an administration fee.

If you arrive late and we are unable to complete your appointment without affecting the next patient, your appointment may be rescheduled at no additional charge. This helps us run smoothly and provide timely care for everyone.

We also recognize that unavoidable circumstances can occur and special consideration may be given when needed.

  • Infusion services provided at private clinics are not covered by Alberta Health, so an infusion service fee applies for the administration and monitoring of your treatment.

However, the medication itself is often covered through private drug insurance plans, employee health benefits, or in some cases government or public drug programs, depending on the medication and your eligibility.

Our pharmacists will review your coverage, check eligibility, and coordinate with your insurance provider or patient support program when applicable. We also assist with completing any required forms or paperwork to help ensure you receive the maximum coverage available and minimize out-of-pocket costs.

You will receive a detailed receipt for infusion services, which may be eligible for reimbursement through certain private health benefit plans.
